Fleurish 360 Launches Spa Management Training for the Next-Generation of Spa Professionals

Fleurish 360 is pleased to announce the introduction of our spa management training program aimed at tackling the ongoing challenges faced by the spa industry. The Summer inaugural session was made available to a select group of independent practitioners wanting to launch their own businesses, and I must say it was exciting for me, and them.

I'd like to take this moment and share what inspired me to be the "disruptor" and develop the next-gen in spa management training.


 

The Journey


Having been a Customer-Relationship-Management (CRM) guru and practioner since the days of database marketing, I always knew the spa industry was prime for CRM. It's been five (5) years since I presented the Certify Delight Loop as a final project to obtain my Spa Management Certification at the University of California, Irvine, and it was the enthusiastic acceptance by the program instructors that validated this for me.


The spa industry has been slow in adjusting its business model to meet the demands of evolving markets and in offering the essential training that spa managers need to succeed. This has been a long-standing challenges for the industry, which led them to go outside the industry to find experienced corporate professionals like myself to fill the demand for spa directors and managers equipped with the necessary skills to run a successful spa business. Moreover, the concepts used in most spa management training programs still reflect the industry's traditional and static business model.


My own spa management training experience revealed that for practicing therapists in the program, there was a disconnect between the education provided and the practical application of specific skills in real-world situations.


Most clients come to Fleurish 360 for website development. However, our approach has always been to deliver services focused on a holistic view of the customer and their experiences. By educating and taking incremental steps we've been able to integrate CRM into our client's operations. They've seen an increase in client retention, productivity and profits.


In order to accomplish this, spas must adopt a holistic, but logistical business strategy, extensively leverage their spa management system, and actively engage with customers by providing the right service for the right client at the right time using the appropriate messaging. It's also essential that spa programs are continuously evaluated and refined, and then repeated to adapt to business fluctuations and changing consumer demands and expectations.


 

Next-Generation Spa Management Training


Spa management with the Certify Delight Loop is the business model for the next-gen spa. It integrates the spa's concept, service offerings, performance elements, and profitability into the delivery of memorable client experiences. Results are consistently evaluated and refined, then repeated across operations, sales and marketing activities to drive growth, profitability and client loyalty. It also introduces a significant paradigm shift in how clients are viewed, which is this: a new client and an existing one are the same individual just in different stages in their journey.

Our online program extends beyond just spa management to include this holistic "how-to" CRM-centric guide for spa operations. Learned concepts are reinforced with exercises using real-world scenarios.  Practical exercises based on real-life situations are used to strengthen understanding of key concepts for next-gen spa professionals. The goal of each course is to equip participants with at least one actionable concept or tool that they can apply immediately to kickstart their new business with CRM practices or help existing operations shift towards a dynamic CRM-based spa model.
